Projects & Community Service
Below is a list and description of the projects & community service activities we will be doing this year. We want members to participate in at least one project! If you have any ideas for a project or community service activity that connects business with the school or community, please let us know!
Community Service Projects
1. Troop Box Drive
Members donate items to be sent to our military members stationed across the world.
2. Senior Craft
Members will travel to a local retirement home to meet local senior citizens for an afternoon of fun.
3. FBLA Community Service State Project
Every year, PA FBLA officers choose a charity to sponsor and raise money for. We will be conducting several fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the state project.
4. Staff Breakfast
Members will serve our Dallastown Staff members a breakfast to congratulate on the beginning of another trimester.

Presentations by community members to our members about business and leadership.
2. FBLA in the City (Fall)
FBLA students visit various businesses in York City to learn more about entrepreneurship and how businesses operate.
3. Stock Market Challenge (Winter)
Chapter-wide competition using a stock market simulation in February, winner receives a prize.
4. 3rd Grade Entrepreneurship Day (Winter)
FBLA students visit the 3rd graders at York Township and conduct a lesson about entrepreneurship and why it is important in life.
5. 5th Grade Cyber Day (Spring)
Assembly at the Intermediate school in March where FBLA students will teach the importance of digital safety.
6. Sophomore Interview Day (Spring)
Junior members assist with the interview day process.
